The Square Register Connection (SRC) gives staff the ability to manage and fulfill mobile app and online orders straight from the in-store Square kiosk, or from a compatible tablet.
Enable Square Register Integration
Your Ordrslip user must have Admin permissions to enable this integration.
- Log in to the Ordrslip Admin Dashboard
- Click Square Register Connection
- Toggle on the setting: Send App Orders to Square Register
If you manage multiple locations, enable each location individually or all at once.
Square POS Configuration
Manage settings in the Square POS app on your kiosk or tablet to enable alerts and automatic printing.
Enable Alerts:
- Access the Square app on your kiosk/tablet
- Tap the three vertical lines
- Tap Settings
- Tap Alerts
- Enable Allow Alerts
- Set FREQUENCY to Immediately
The kiosk will now give an audible/visual alert to staff when a new mobile or online order is received.
Printer Configuration
Automatically print incoming mobile app and online orders through the Square printer. Automatic printing does requires a printer station already be created.
Enable automatic printing:
- Access the Square app on your tablet
- Tap the three vertical lines
- Tap Settings
- Tap Print Orders
- Enable Automatically Print New Orders
The compatibility of this setting extends to the Star Micronics TSP654ii CloudPrint network printer. Other network printer models may potentially work.
