Coffee Convo: Innovating and Problem-Solving

About this event
Join us as we sit down with coffee shop owners Bryan Feil (The Revue) and Nicholas Wilks (Erly Rush) to investigate how the coffee industry is changing and how to meet the moment. Stick around for the Q&A for a chance to get unique insights from our guests on how they innovate and problem-solve in this new era!
Bryan Feil is one of the owners of The Revue, a local coffee shop in Fresno, CA that has garnered a cult following since its grand opening in 2017. In its first few years, The Revue has positioned itself as a local leader in the coffee industry through innovation, collaboration, and community-mindedness. In 2020, The Revue adapted and grew to meet the moment, pivoting from a bustling cafe environment to a strictly takeout model.
Nicholas Wilkes is the owner of Erly Rush, an artsy cafe that does specialty coffee in the small town of Muskogee, OK. Erly Rush stands out as an innovative coffee shop as it goes head-to-head with big chain coffee shops in a town with a population of just 38,000 people. Since it opened in 2012, Erly Rush has become a local favorite with a loyal customer base. In 2020, Erly Rush adapted to new restrictions by focusing on its drive-thru location with two drive-thru lanes that remain busy throughout the day.
